| Information Sessions for Trustees 5 – 15 March: Online Services |
The next and 2nd release of ITSA Online Services will be implemented on the evening of Wednesday 3 March 2010. This 2nd release of Online Services has some new features as well as enhancements to existing functionality. The features and enhancements are described further below.
ITSA will be conducting Information Sessions on this Online Services release during 5 and 15 March 2010 at the locations noted in the table below. In some locations, an alternate session is available to accommodate expected interest and attendance. You need attend only 1 session.
With the exception of Townsville and Hobart, Information Sessions will be held in your local ITSA office.
Please carefully consider the available session day(s) and time(s) at each location and email confirmation of your attendance, the preferred day and time and the number of attendees from your office to onlineservices@itsa.gov.au

| Some New and Enhanced Online features |
Realisations and Interest Charges
- The online generation and submission of Form 15 and Form 16 for realisations and interest charges, removing the need for manual creation of these forms.
- This process produces a unique reference number for each submission, which can then be quoted when making the payment to ITSA, removing the need to deliver any paper work. Trustees need only quote the reference number when processing an EFT payment or when sending a cheque. Each submission is visible online providing clarity on what information ITSA has on hand.
- History of RC/IC payments.
Annual Estate Returns
- The Online AER function enables users to enter information relating to their administrations throughout the year. Users are able to log on and update the information whenever new activity occurs within an administration.
- The Online AER function also has a nil return button which will auto-populate a nil return AER, making it easier for users to file returns for administrations with no receipts and payments activity.
- Historical AER lodgement data is also available online making it easier to recall what has been submitted for the current or previous financial years.
- AER information can be submitted in Online Services on an administration by administration basis, in batches of multiple administrations, as well as the traditional bulk one-off lodgement. Trustees can therefore manage their AER lodgements in a manner that best suits them.
Enhancements to current functionality
- Aliases and/or trading names have been added to the debtor’s details for each administration.
- A summary report of administrations on hand is available.
- A detailed report for an administration can be produced.
- Whenever submitting to ITSA a receipt can be printed or saved.
- For administrations where there is an objection the system displays “objection” in the expected date of discharge in the list of matters, matter details, list of matters report, or matter details report.
